The Annual Daycelebration of BM Madhuram Narayanan Centre unit for special children was held the 12th of December 2025, with great enthusiasm and joy, marking yet another milestone in the journey of our institution. The event provided a vibrant platform to reflect on the achievements of the year, celebrate the unique talents of our children, and reaffirm our commitment to inclusive education and holistic development.
Eight stories from the Panchatantra, performed by the children and their mothers showcased under the theme – NeediyinVazhiyil – (Moral Path), the stories, adapted to suit the abilities of the special children, were presented through skits, songs and dances. The eight stories were: The Fox and the Crow, The Cap Seller and the Monkeys, The Fox and the Grapes, The Two Cats and the Monkey, The Lion and the Magic Ball, The Blue Jackal, The Five Fingers, and The Pigeons and the Hunter.
Each presentation reflected not only their creativity and confidence but also the dedicated efforts of the teachers and therapists who work tirelessly to nurture every child’s potential. The performances were received with loud applause and appreciation from the audience.
An important segment of the event was the presentation of the Annual Report, which outlined the academic progress, therapeutic interventions, co-curricular activities, and outreach programmes conducted during the year. This was followed by the distribution of awards and certificates, recognising the achievements, progress, and consistent efforts of students, staff, and supporters.
The Chief Guest of the day, Dr Rema Chandramohan, Deputy Executive Officer, and retired Head of the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children, Egmore, is a distinguished paediatrician and neonatologist, and a close associate of BM MNC.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
