Bala Mandir Kamaraj Trust in collaboration with Madras Youth Choir conducted a 2 day workshop in Indian Choral Music on the 27th and 28th of June 2019 for the Music teachers. Training the teachers program was aimed at reaching out to the Youth in different schools in large numbers. The turnout was very encouraging with 20 participants with whom the sessions were interactive with learning of basics of Indian choral music. 5 songs, 3 in Tamil and one each in Bengali and Telugu were taught by the instructors of MYC. The compositions revolved around national integration, human and social values, unity and cultural diversity.
