The Founders Day was celebrated on the 24th September 2019 at the BM Cultural Centre. The function was presided by Mr. Srikanth Chandrasekaran, Founder Trustee Altius Foundation as the Chief Guest.

The children performed a ‘Villu Paatu’ on Manjuamma’s Life which followed by a presentation about Bala Mandir and its Milestones by Mrs. Leela Natarajan. The staff who have served Bala Mandir were awarded the Service Awards for 20 years to Mrs. Valli of DCC, Ms. Lokasundari of Childrens Programme and 25years to Mrs. Usha Rani – Paramedical, Mr. Paneer Selvam – Admin and Ms. Deepthi - DCC teacher.

The program came to a close with the Chief Guest’s motivating speech followed by the Bala Mandir Anthem and National Anthem. All the children and staff were treated to a sumptuous lunch.
