The Gandhi Connect Workshop, conducted with Aseema Trust, focusing on“Truth and Non-Violence”was held on February 15th. This was the first year when performing students were included in the work shop, in addition to the teachers. Children from five city schools, including SMHS, participated and presented their views on the topic through song, skit, mime, etc. The moderators were Dr.V.R.Devika, of Aseema Trust and Dr.Mohan, Chairman of the Gandhi Study Centre, Chennai, and they gave an insight in to the topic and the kind of impact Mahatma Gandhi had on all aspects of life.
