Legal Education Programme was held in Bala Mandir on the 31st of October, the focus this year being on “Women’s Rights – A Burning Issue”. Hon’ble Justice M. Jaichandren, Judge, High Court of Madras, presided over the function, which was also graced by many prominent personalities from the legal fraternity.

From among the city schools invited, students of Class XI representing the following sixschools made to make presentations on the topic through power point and oration - Chinmaya Vidyalaya, AMM Matric, Alpha Matric, PSBB, Vidyodaya GHSS and Vidyodaya Matric, which threw light on the topic of the day. A wrap-up discussion on the above topic and presentation was taken up by Ms. GeetaRamaseshan, eminent lawyer and an expert on International Human Rights Law and Women’s empowerment. |
