“As a new initiative the Balu Sir Summer Camp was held at the Satyamurthi High School premises from May 1st –May 15th. There were 120 participants in all and comprised of Bala Mandir children as well those from the Bala Mandir Schools – Standard III to Standard VIII. The children were taught meditation, some of the Indian Martial Arts, Folk Arts, Story Telling, Role play with a theme, fun games, art work etc. At the end of the day each child received packed lunch – with varying menu. On the Valedictory, the children performed what they had learnt. Each child received a book & certificate.”
