“Payanam”, a poster session, was organized as part of the Kinship Care Annual Meet to provide an opportunity for each cluster to present and share its journey, learning, experiences, challenges, and the impact created in the lives of children and families through their work. The session aimed to help visitors understand the realities, strengths, and transformations within Kinship Care communities while creating a space for reflection, learning, and appreciation.
The exhibition witnessed active participation from volunteers, donors, programme partners, and team members from other Bala Mandir programmes. A total of six displays were presented, with five cluster-based panels highlighting regional experiences and one central panel showcasing the overall growth and evolution of the Kinship Care Programme through the years.
Each cluster creatively presented stories and case experiences from the field, illustrating the challenges faced by families, the interventions undertaken by Social Workers, and the positive changes that emerged over time. The displays brought to life the resilience of children and caregivers and demonstrated the multifaceted support provided through the Kinship Care Programme.
The poster session received an overwhelmingly positive response from everyone who had visited. Volunteers, donors, and programme partners expressed appreciation for the depth and breadth of the work being carried out across districts. Many were amazed by the scale of impact achieved and the commitment demonstrated by the field teams. The session not only showcased the programme’s achievements but also highlighted the dedication, compassion, and perseverance of the Social Workers who continue to walk alongside families in their journey towards stability and growth.
